After the passing of Marion Gebbie, one of the group’s Life Members and loyal friend, the group decided, with her family’s approval, to create an annual award in Marion’s memory.
The Marion Gebbie Memorial Award for Creativity will be judged based on agreed criteria and awarded at the March exhibition annually.
The winner of the Award for 2018 was multimedia artist Sue Dilley for handwoven basket ‘Going North’.
